Was just reading Ward's wiki page which states his father is of Irish decent.

Interesting. Does this put him above Barry McGuigan in terms of great Irish boxers

Everyone is part something. Doesn't mean jack, it's what you identify yourself with, Andre Ward clearly identifies himself as African-American.

No lol.

Over here when we talk of great Irish fighters we dont really include Irish Americans. We only really talk of fighters from N. Ireland and ROI when talking about our boys.
