This fight shouldn't have gone any longer than round 2. Wlad's hesitation to throw anything even against an opponent who was no threat whatsoever to him is very frustrating. Thompson got hurt by the first combinations Wlad threw (in round 4 or 5) and was clearly 5 levels below him.

I can't really understand what people are expecting of Wlad. He isn't really THAT boring. If you are a boxing fan in general you need to learn how to appreciate his style of fighting. He gets the job done most of the time, barley looses a round and doesn't get hit that often.

This time he knocked the guy out in 6 rounds and provided a exciting fight. He isn't a tyson and everyone should be well aware of that.

Excellent performance.
