all tonight showed is that he's outgrown the division, he needs to concentrate on 154. he looked superb but when the fatigue caught up on him because he had to drain down carson began to land as brook was no longer elusive enough to get away.

a guy like margarito for example at welterweight was a champion for a reason.

what kell needs to do is either get fitter (not sure he can do that) or learn to fight these guys some how. kell holds his hands ala james toney. he should watch more of his fights against come forward pressure fighters who could bang and had skill.

brook should be happy that fight was not 15 rounds cos the pipe had busted and he was ready to go.

I think they know he can get fitter or do something to improve his stamina. The comments after the fight from kell and Hearn were refreshing. Brook made no exuses and it seems like he knows something has to change so thats a positive you can take from a hard fight. He learnt a lot more tonight than he would of done by blasting him out in 6 rounds. Thats not to say it was ideal as it wasnt and it was a lot closer than anyone would of expected.

Does it mean Brook is exposed or cant reach the top? Not at all.

Carson Jones record is alot better than people think, some people look at records and just look for an "0".
both times he was stopped was at light middleweight, got beat on points by Roberto Garcia and Soto Karass both of those were technically at light middleweight and they are tough fighters. Jones was underrated and overlooked.

he's 26 guys, he has years a head of him, and he just got a 35 minute 45 second education. not a 54 second reality check (not hating, promise).

IMO he is 4 fights away from a world title.

Kell might not be a world beater, but you can't knock his heart and courage. He showed tremendous heart & will to come through the 12. Most would of crumbled with the shots Brook was absorbing.

Don't write him off yet. He has the ability to pick up a world title IMO.

He clearly didnt do the weight right & mentioned his diet & conditioning need work

I think Brook under estimated Carson. Carson was too fit and in all fairness did the more damage. I think Baily is past it now and would expect Brook to beat him. Brook showed his limitations but isn't a bum.
