Really though, Cottos trainer Diaz would be interesting.
Exactly why he won't make that move...

He doesn't have to choose. He can train with Floyd Sr. and bring Conte onto his team. That way he'll get both

You know who broke his jaw? Mathebula!!

He is having a surgery in south africa. And he broke his jaw from one of the harder punchers while Ortiz broke his jaw from a 140 pounder who is exactly not known to be power puncher.

I agree.

People here are so fickle it's hilarious. always posts about how a fighter should be a warrior & fight hurt, but all of a sudden Ortiz would have been right to quit? Had he done so, besides the loss, his reputation would have suffered considerably. If he HAD KO's Lopez before round 9, he'd be singing Garcia's praises.

Since his jaw was already fractured in round 4, the Alvarez fight was already over. Why NOT take a chance by continuing?

Ortiz doesn't need a new trainer, he needs a therapist.

lead the way victor donaire, rios, pavlik will follow your footsteps shortly and together all of you will learn that there are more effective methods of blocking punches rather than using your heads.....
