Anybody know or have a link?

I was impressed by the toughness he showed in the Williams fight with that horrible cut.

According to Sauerlands HP, he is 1,89m tall. That´s about 6 feet 2.

Platov was tough after the fight was stopped!!! They stopped the fight smartly just before the end of the fourth round so it would be a No Contest. The cut was not worse then in round three, so they robbed Danny of a win! Look at BoxRec how many times and which opponent Platov fought after that fight!

Sure Danny was rocked a little , but the butt was accidental. Danny would KO Pussy Platov in the next rounds!! The promoter thought that Danny was a good win on there record, but after this fight Platov was never the same!!

Platov has been in same dressing room as me a bunch of times, he is same as me exactly..

Around 6ft 2.5 he is quite a decent boxer..

If Platov wins a major title I will eat this laptop.... the best he can hope for is an IBA Intercontinetal bout against Konstatin Airich or something

I bumped the "where is he now" thread yesterday. Where the hell is this guy?

He's got the tools, shows good punch resistance and was moving along nicely after the Williams fight, beating journeymen, Gavern, Oloukun, and Pereyalta handily.

Wins over a tough Akinwande(older, but still formidable) and Colin Wilson, a solid can crusher journeymen type, and his resume was solid for a prospect.

Not that I think Platov woudlve won a world title, but he could have certainly held his own with the likes of Dimitrenko, Fury, and made for some good fights. Not saying he'd win those bouts, but not everyone is gonna be a world champion, but can still make for some exciting fights along the way.
