He could always request a lessar guy, but his balls are too big. I'm not for sure if he understands how bad some of these matchups are for himself. |

Should be a nice fight, while it lasts.... Both guys are fairly limited sluggers who hit like a tonne of bricks. Who has the better chin?

He also has true one punch KO power. The ending isn't very hard to figure out. |

Not sure how entertaining the TUF season will be but im sure this fight will be a barnburner. Im not quite sure who wins both got great KO power and own excellent chins. Carwin seems to be the favorite but remember by the time they fight agian he will have been inactive for about 18 months.

I don't think this is as clear cut a murder by mismatch as some others here seem to. I doubt Nelson will play the game that Mir and those guys did when Carwin was walking through them, and it seems like Carwin can be worn out and beaten by a guy who can take some shots. Nelson might be that guy. Either way, the hype should be interesting. One of the best athletes in the UFC who looks like an action figure versus as deceptively good athlete who looks like a homeless clown.
Anyone know if this is going to be a heavyweight show? |

![]() He's coming off a complete gift of a fight designed to put him back on the 'W' trail. Not many guys would get given such a cushy number for this purpose, they'd keep getting guys on their own level. And not long before that, he was in with ancient shot-to-shit Crocop. Yer talking shit. |

Nelson fails miserably every time he is in with a top guy (Junior, Mir, Werdum).
Carwin is a fighter of extremes, extremely shit cardio, extremely massive power. Will irresistible force (Carwin's power) defeat immovable object (Nelson's chin)? I'm on the fence on this one. At a push, and fully in the knowledge I'll probably regret it, I back the mediocre fat sack of shit Nelson to win this fight against a rusty, declined Carwin. |
