Default If Silva Moved to LHW?

Do you think he'd have a chance at winning the UFC LHW title? I mean, he's in his late 30s, and he's not getting any younger.

Ahhh right. Well Rob Anderson has only had one fight on a Strikeforce Challenges card and is 155er, dont think he'd do well at 205 fella

Is he making the switch to MMA? He's a big guy, I think he should fight at HW. He probably isn't used to cutting weight.

Ahhh Braddock, do I feel like an idiot Had no idea he was trying MMA. It would be a good move for him considering K1 has folded.

I disagree with Rob slightly though, I think he'd be better off if he could make 205, the HW grapplers would maul him. Not that the guys at 205 wouldn't

Cant see him winning the belt though, unless he get 3 months training with JDS

No. He'd be beaten, mostly likely. But I wouldn't be shocked if he proved me wrong. After all, Hendo, a 40 yr old guy did go up to HW and did beat the legendary Fedor.

Fedor was past his prime, you say? That's easy to say AFTER he was KOed. My point is going into that fight, nobody gave the older, smaller guy much of a chance. He scored a big upset and I don't see why Silva can't do the same especially when we've seen how often Bones got hit by Machida.

Well, yeah, but... everyone said he was past his prime BEFORE he was KOed as well. Because he, er, was. Clearly. That's why we all said it.

I reckon the pitbull would do better testing the waters at MW first, he always was a huge welter maybe hell regain some speed at middle and use his leg kicks to good effect. I doubt hell be able to hang at 205 regardless of how big he was at welter. Just realised how long he's been around for the other day rewatching his fight with hughes, really liked him its a shame he was never as good as I thought he would be. Much like paulo thiago

Well with Zuffa by law 23.54a clearly states

''Our Glorious leader Dana White decrees 'Thoust fucking shaluth fucking only fucking have fucking one fucking man fucking named fucking Silva fucking per fucking division fuckers''

So unless anyone wanting to change their names, that spot it filled by Thiago Silva at the moment.

I always thought Antonio Silva looked like a Cecil, Cecil von Chin, that would be a good name for him if he decideds to cut to LHW. Maybe Wanderlei could become Wyatt Smith if he goes back up in weight.

Of course Silva could win the title.

I want to see him at 205 versus similar sized men with good wrestling. I'm sure many people will say he is a natural 185er but there are alot of 185ers at 205. They either don't train hard enough, diet hard enough or do too much weights.

Nevertheless, it is the wrestling which we need to see. He found an answer to Chael and Hendo so who knows.

If Rashad moves down and gets a good win then thats a good win that offers legitimacy to his 205 ability.
