Well his wrestling isn't all simply brute strength. There is a lot of technique there that he can bring down to LHW. His punching power may suffer, but he may bring that with him as well. It's hard to say until we see him make the switch.

All of this is true, especially the bolded, but I personally am not generally a big fan of fighters killing themselves to make the lightest possible weight. I'm not a fighter, but I can only assume you'd fight better when you feel healthy and at your strongest. When you're not feeling weakened by the cut and worried about potential cardio issues and such. I don't know the man, but I can't see how Cormier would be comfortable operating at 205, and confidence means a lot in a fight.
