Anderson deserves a shot at the title, whether it's Groves or for the vacant belt, because of how much he's been fucked around by Groves and co.
If he doesn't want to defend the belt, he should bin it. A slot on an American undercard is all very well, so long as he's not on the sidelines for another year like his hero and mentor. |

TBH people say does he deserve a shot at the title, fact is outside DeGale,Groves and Magee he is the best SMW domestically. You could say Paul Smith but he's fought both and lost and talked of going back down to middle and tbh we don't know what he's doing with his career he says he's back in September i have a feeling he'll step in to fight Anderson personally, Anyways Anderson meanwhile has gone away and won against not the best opposition but at end of the day he's the most active SMW domestically. He's fought area level fighters, but he's fighting and putting wins together.
The level of opposition isn't great but tbh the division has got immense quality at the top but lacks depth under likes of Magee,Groves and DeGale. There isn't much of a middle ground, Reid isn't the same fighter, Mendy hardly ever fights and operates at different weights half the time. So i feel Kenny deserves his shot at the title compared to the rest. If Groves doesn't want to fight him again, all he needs to do is drop the titles and step up into higher opposition and let Kenny and co battle it out. It should be a good fight while it lasts. |
