Belcher is tweeting (or so I've been told) about him being offered the Belfort fight and they're just awaiting confirmation/acceptance from Vitor.
This is a great fight and given the monster Belcher has shown himself to be I'll take him to win the fight but only by a fairly narrow margin. I would like to see Alan a bit more in the clinch because he's clearly devistating on the ground and has some pretty damn good and diverse striking skills. Belcher riding a 4 fight win streak with his most recent win coming against Rousimar Palhares. Thoughts on the (potential) fight? |

Looking forward to this Belcher is always a fun guy to watch. Belfort is a big step up to anything he has had in terms of striking but Belcher can't be written off. If he can get through the 1st round he might be able to do something. Hard task though to avoid Vitor lately though.

FUCK THIS!!!!
Make Vitor vs Weidman already. wtf. The winner fights Silva. Either give Silva some time off, or let him go up and embarrass another contender at LHW in the meantime. |

To hell with putting Vitor in a title eliminator anytime soon. Dude has 0 wins over legit Middleweight contenders and he just got knocked out by the champ in one round only two fights ago.

I think Alan will go through Vitor... his best days are way past him and since his sister got nabbed he's not been the same! Lynchburg |

This is a great fight, a real 50-50.
I will back Vitor to win because he's a special force at 185, but I wouldn't be shocked at all by a Belcher win, AB is looking tremendous these days. I'll go for Vitor by TKO in the 2nd or 3rd round. I don't think the winner of this fight should get a title shot yet though, for me Weidman vs the Bisping/Stann winner should decide the next challenger. |

I'll take Belcher. Tough guy that will outlast Belfort. I don't see Belfort winning without a quick knockout like against Franklin, and I don't see Belcher losing that way.

At least Belcher has the balls to call out Vitor because nobody else seems to want to fight him. It's actually nice to see the division so crowded at the top instead of bare like it was a couple short years ago. |
