A vicious smear campain against one of the all time great posters.
JohnThomas1 listed Donny Lalonde in 10th place. Frankenfrank wouldnt put Donny Lalonde ahead of all time greats light heavyweights like Young Peter Jackson, Sven Ottke, Noah Brusso or Shaun George (who was undefeated at teh weight including a win over former world heavyweight champion Chris Byrd) |

What is great about the LtHvy division is the multiple combinations of the top all-time 20 fighters have a case for beating each other.
Maybe Slapsie Maxie might win the "round robin" tourney.....you just never know. |

Nobody. Not Moore, not Harold Johnson, not Roy Jones nor Billy Conn. Foster was an unusually tall, accurate and hard punching LH. I actually think he has a good chance of stopping any LH ever. I know he could not step up and handle heavyweights the way Moore could but at LH, he was the best ever.

Foster was a nightmare..a killer preying mantis from Mars for those poor lightheavies in the late 60's to '74. However, the guys with the best chance of surviving, and maybe even getting a win, were the boxer/movers, like Conn, Loughran, and yes, even Willie Pastrano. Foster would have killed Saad Muhammad, as easy as it was for him to get hit..Jones he would have just pulverized. You think Tarver was able to hurt Jones? It would be nothing compared to Foster.
