I thought about twitter but a lot of people don't reply to DM's and I'm guessing they get a lot of shit private messages regarding similar sorts of requests!!

Just use the internet mate. For current boxers think of the gym they train at (eg. google “XXXX trains at … gym”) or their manager, agent, promoter or trainer and this should give you a postal address or email address to persue and get a message to them. Sometimes it’s as easy as finding their official website and sending an email.

Are there any boxers in particular that you’re thinking of. I have got loads of signed pics by writing to current and retired boxers from around the world so have quite a few addresses which you should have success with.

I can send you a list of names if you want and you can let me know if you want the addresses for any of them.

Its not to difficult to get these items, with the social networks availabe. Some might want you to send them a glove which they will sign and send back. Or maybe a fight poster etc, the difficulty comes when trying to get a certificate of authenticity. Without that your memorabelia isn't really worth a great deal and some people will say ah bullshit you signed that yourself. If the collection is just for your personall pleasure then who gives a shit abot the CoA, but if you want to gain financially then its essential.

the only issue with the social networks is that they have to be following you for you to send them a DM and alot of the boxers dont follow everyone which is highly understandable.

im not in it for the money just want to start my own collection for my enjoyment .
