Default Oscar Wants A Tune Up In May...why Not Kt?

If KT was every looking for one last fight why not take on Oscar in the showdown many wanted to see years ago? Oscar wants a tune up in May before rematching Mayweather in Sep So what about it?

KT takes on the goldenboy in his final match up of his career?

Yeah i see your point.
Its prob nearly too late now for this to be finalized tho, as Kostya would need alot of time to get into tiptop shape.

Mega fight in Moscow in MAy sounds mouth watering.

Final fight of KTs career and brings home an absolute bucket load of cash.

I wouldn't want to see Kostya get hurt and De La Hoya would punish him.

Half a year after the Hatton fight this would have been viable. At the moment, Kostya is permanently retired. He doesn't need to prove himself anymore. As much as I would love to see him fight, it would only serve to further tarnish his legacy.

So you guys wouldnt like him to earn about 10-15 mill or even more for this fight. If he wants to then i say dig in KT. He'd still do ok now against Dela Hoya, it would be a boxing match not a wrestling event.

Brain....desire yes.....body maybe....chin? How so ?

But brain no not by a long shot KT has all his marbles....KT most likely doesnt have the desire but as far as chin....thats ridiculous.....it was exhaustion that los thim the last fight nothing to do with his chin

Its been almost 3 years since the Hatton fight. He is 38 years old as well. I think you are expecting to see the old Kostya, where as in reality you will see a much faded and aging former great. I think Oscar is still 5 years younger, and has been keeping more active then KT. Plus KT would be moving up in weight. I don't think this is a good fight for him.

Kostya's also put on a shit load of weight since the Hatton fight.

I don't wanna see him fight again. Time to train, or do something else, though stay away from commentating because he sucks at that.

I really hope KT doesnt fight again, its almost time to admit he is retired for good, which i think is best for him.

Oscar should fight any bum, and i hope he gets beaten. So the Mayweather fight doesnt go ahead.

Mayweather vs Cotto is what we want!!!!

KT should become a trainer and be comfortable - the guy must have 30-40 million in the bank

Interesting to hear that Margarito called Oscar out.
Wouldnt mind seeing the Tijuana Tornado end Oscar for good.

We need Mayweather vs Cotto this year.
