he has achieved well but he was groomed to be the next ppv star. So he has fallen quite short at this stage but he has plenty of years to try again. Its too early to write him off to do those things..

The expectations don't much his actual talents, that's why you think he's underachieved so far. I rather think he's done quite well for what he has. Because IMHO his flaws outweigh his strengths.

I use this analogy quite a lot, but it's like going on a blind date and being told you're going to meet a REALLY hot woman. But getting someone below what you expected, The girl you get is still a cutie pie. But you're disappointed because your expectations were just too high.

Khan needs to protect his weaknesses, and use his strengths to best effect.

His handspeed is the greatest asset in boxing, he needs to apply that properly.

Roach tried to make him something that he is not, Khan's a boxer not a puncher, once he understands this he will be ok.

overachiever more like - net worth $23 million and hasnt even fought on ppv yet and has lost 3 times- that figure doesnt take into consideration the amount he blown living the life and is quite impressive because after deductions and taxes it aint easy to be worth that much fighting only twice a year - his out of the ring deals must be pulling in alot of money he has done well for himself considering all he has is quick hands

obviously the glaring chin/too much heart problems are there but khans main problem , imo, is his lack of punching power. i cant belive no one has mentioned this. at the world class level he couldnt punch the skin off a pudding. everyone walks through his punches. he caught maidana sweet with the body shot but since then i dont think hes hurt an opponent.

This. Only people with inflated exceptions of Khan must think he's underachieved.
