To be honest, I think he's achieved way more than his ability should allow him. He's got fast hands, thats it.

Why do we fall Bruce....Only to get back up!....I really hope Amir finds his talent and maximizes, I should not have assumed that he is an underachiever and in hindsight he has actually overachieved but will he be the same fighter he once was, that is my question and only time will tell!

He's fought the best in his division and been a legit champ, one time number 1. He hasn't underachieved and who is to say he has stopped achieving.

Khans been in alot of 50-50 fights (without the use of hindsight) - MAB, Kotelnik, Maidana etc

He's done well IMO and hasn't finished yet. He got silver at the Olympics and has won titles. I can tell you Gold medallists that have achieved nothing like the level Amir has. His ego and self opinion massively outweigh his actuall talent. If he dropped the hangers on, kept his mouth shut and out the effort in he can come good. I don't think the wildcard is good for him, judging by recent docummentary and word coming from the camp it's really not a nice gym to be in. To much arguing and distractions and a strength and conditioning coach conducting paddock and sparring, CRAZY. Khan needs to be number one in the stable his ego demands that and he ain't ever going to get that at wildcard. I enjoy watching him fight, and if he fights to his strengths he will reign again. The fact that Garcia is choosing to fight morales next other than khan really speaks volumes. Khan started the fight well but got complacent, I think once he saw the cut develop he thought he was on the home straight. He must learn from this, and if he does I expect him to be world champ again within 12 mnths.

With Khan's boxing brain, brittle chin and that in and out amateurish style i think he has overachieved in professional boxing.

Khan gets more arrogant the more he wins, he treated Peterson as a stepping stone as he did Garcia, always having one eye on the Mayweather bout. His fights are entertaining, but his arrogance is annoying. Stating he is 'levels above other fighters', and refering to himself 'a superstar', if he had won the Peterson fight, and then beaten Garcia, his ego would be huge, and needing it's own plane to get it back to the U.K.

Average power, glass jaw, thick as shit. He's done quite well for himself considering I'd say!

I'd say he has overachieved as well and unless he accepts that he has serious flaws will achieve no more in his career.

Maybe hyped, but not under achieved.

Most good boxing fans were aware of his flaws wy back when he started his pro career, even way back in his am career.

Now bearing all those flaws in mind, I think being a two time world champ and an olympic silver medalist at 25 years of age is pretty decent.

Not to mention he is a millionaire and his girlfriend is a stunner.

Spot on, Khan has/ maybe now had a ego problem.

Last time he showed full respect in the ring was vs Zab, guess what that was his last win.
