Hello ESB,
I was wondering what some of the more brutal fights were from the 1970's until present day. Specifically, fights that tested cutmen to lower swelling and to stop bleeding throughout the fight. Any fights where there is recorded footage of would be greatly appreciated. Thank you |

I don't remember there being a lot of blood in the Chacon-Limon fight, but two that spring to mind are Saad-Conteh II and Saad-Marvin Johnson-II. Saad's face was a mask of blood at the end, though I think he suffered that cut late in the fight.
Ghoulish question. |

lol I know. In these Saad fights, was there any bleeding early on that was maybe stopped for a bit? I'm interested in how a cutman can control bleeding and swelling. Especially in a dogfight. Thanks SalSanchez |

I can't recall Saad-Conteh II being a "bloodfest" ! It was just that Conteh had nothing left and got blitzed pretty quickly. |

You only had to give Zaragoza a dirty look and the skin around his eyes split open. I remember his wars with Banke being particularly bloody.
