I love Shogun but he gasses out in 1 round. I mean he keeps going but has little speed or power, looks sloppy as all hell too.

Was watching this on Fox but half way through the third round of the main event, my Fox deaded the UFC feed and the 10 O'Clock News came on.

That was way more of a war than it should have been. Great fight. Super impressed with Vera. He showed a lot of heart, and he more than hung in there with Shogun.

Had Vera fought that way everytime, he might have at least 2 or 3 less losses.
UFC won't cut him yet, I think. They would probably match him with Bader, Griffin or Hendo if he loses to Jones. |

For sure , great fight I thought he was going to quit a couple times but didn't, he even hurt Shogun but Shogun never quits. Vera will have another fight in UFC for sure.

Shogun gasses anytime that he has to push himself hard and grapple for more than a round. His cardio held up against Machida the first time because it was moderately paced and mostly stand up.
