Pernell faced a better offensive machine in Julio Cesar Chavez Sr, and we all saw how that turn out.

Now take someone who is less accurate, has much trouble with movement and counterpunching, and can't cut off the ring for shit and what do you get? A major schooling at the heads of Pea.

I'd take Pernell to win this, but it can go either way. If Manny sticks with counterpunching I can see him winning this by decision or even KO.

Different styles. Pacquaio's punches come from more angles. Chavez is more of a patient, precision stalker with slower hands. Pacquaio gets off easier with punches. Chavez is technically better though, no question.

The only thing in regards to this fight that would be relevant is whether or not Pea pitches a shut-out. Manny would likely be a game challenger, and give everything he has, and maybe even have some productive moments in the fight....Not sure that would translate into him winning rounds though. For the sake of respect towards Pac I will lean towards a 10-2/9-3 type of decision...But one where the outcome is never seriously in question.
