Because he already beat him when he was only half fit

He already had plenty

When are you going to realise that at the time,Vitali was very insignificant in the grand scheme?.

Don't thank me,I'm just happy to help.

quite right, you Vitali fans need to accept that your guy was good for beating LHWs, cruisers and non bruisers, but anyone on the right side of 39 who was semi-decent or could punch was was trouble for Vitali, because he simply isnt a good enough fighter to deal with them.

Are people still ****ing on about this?

Lennox already ****ed him up good when he was out of shape and considerably older, there was nothing left to prove.

Maybe because he had millions in the bank
Maybe because his legacy as one of the ATG heavyweights was secure
Maybe because he wanted to leave as undisputed champion
Maybe because he had just beaten his closest rival by stoppage.

I mean...Im just guessing here.
he knew his time has passed and he retired, if he continued fighting he would be beaten by younger hungrier guys. Klitshckos were getting better and Lewis was getting older.

Lewis was NOT planning to retire in 2003. The only reason Lewis retired was so that he did not have to face Vitali again.
