Vitali was robbed and WBC was trying to make the record straight. Lewis knew he would lose so he retired and Vitali got his title. and, by the way, Lewis never mentioned retirement before the fight.

Vits wasn't robbed, he was beat up to the point where the fight had to be stopped. The record was set straight that night when a fat, old man beat a prime fighter who's only other loss was to Chris Byrd. And the corrupt and despicable WBC doesn't do shit for anyone unless it benefits them. You've alreadt been shown links by another poster and myself of Lewis being quoted talking about retirement and how Tyson was the only meaningful fight left for him. That you choose to ignore it shows just how far your nuthugging will go. Its right up there with "Lennox thumbed him and should have been disqualified".

sorry to make you look like an idiot but

"Question: Are you looking to fight twice this year?
Lewis: That is fair to say."

Vitali's career may have ended that night ... he should be for ever grateful to Lennox for sparing him

60 stitches and plastic surgery = TKO6

Son, you're the only one who looks like an idiot. Fighters say things out of emotion after fights. You know, like Vittles telling the German crowd he would het his title back after quitting while they were cheering for Byrd.

“I want to give him(Tyson) a good whipping and then after that it is a strong possibility I will retire. I want Tyson. I am pushing for him and want to get him before the end of the year."

By the way, how is the propaganda campaign going to get tko6 reversed to a DQ win for Vittles?

Gotta like Bremen's devotion to the cause! Check in to the topic every now and then and without fail he is still crying a river over TKO 6 every second page.

He will look up one day and see a couple of decades of his life have passed on this topic.

Fight is almost 10 years old now and Klittards still butthurt and sad that Vitali failed miserably in the most important fight of his life

Default Lennox in his win vs Vitali, was he really fat/unmotivated?

Discuss. I'm a huge Lewis fan and I thought he was pretty in shape, 6 pack + pretty good stamina.

If you're a huge Lewis fan you already know the answer.

He was a bit overweight and a bit undermotivated, yeah, This is a pattern with a couple of Lennox's previous opponents, whom he struggled against/lost. Vitali wasn't his original opponent (bit then Lennox wasn't Vitali's original opponent either). I wouldn't say he was fat though. Not compared with today's paragons of physical excellence anyway.

Lewis clearly thought k.johnson was a c level fighter and trained accordingly, coming in at 256 showed this
