12 rounds with multiple cuts & brain damage, and Vitali couldn't put a shot Briggs away. (a Briggs who, unlike the 2003 Vitali, already had two stoppage losses from his prime...not retirements, but real kayos )

He was already training for a fight (Just like Lewis)
He only had two weeks notice of the opponent change (Just like Lewis)

If a boxer shows up unprepared that's their own problem. By the early 2000's Lewis was unprepared thinking of Hollywood instead of fighting. And if he had lost it would be on him for being unprepared and out-of-shape. But instead he exposed Vital and won.

TKO6.

You need to think like one of them.

Lennox sure did expose somebody by losing multiple rounds, getting extremely lucky and then running away into retirement.

Point still stands Lewis couldn't put away Vitali that had a terrible cut obscuring his vision for 3 or 4 rounds.

Opening up multiple cuts by smashing your opponent in the face repeatedly = luck.

deal with it

(Vitali won double that and has almost KO'd him 3x and would have had the fight continued)
If the fight would've continued then Vitali would be blind in 1 eye and would need extensive reconstructive surgery

And he would get KTFO and have his career finished

Lewis was coming back and Vitali was gasping for air and started to drape himself on Lewis trying to hang on for dear life ... he's lucky that face vag is all he got

Show me evidence that the cut above the eye was a punch and not a thumb or a butt. If there were no cut to obscure Vitali's vision and stop the fight Lennox was getting ko'd.

Why no rematch? Lennox was scared of VK big time.

He made his point by nearly taking the eyesight of Vitali away

Lewis was honestly going to retire after the second Rahman fight but Tyson and him finally got a deal done

And then he was retired after that but decided to take the fight against Bitchko

No need to fight a rematch when you nearly end the other guys career and put his health into permanent jeopardy ... Tyson asked for a rematch and he didn't get it, so was Lewis afraid of shot zombie Tyson? Of course not. And Tyson didn't need cosmetic surgery and multiple stitches to save his vision and keep half his face from falling off

Its like asking Sonny Liston to give Chuck Wepner a rematch ... but I doubt shittards would know about that fight since they don't actually follow boxing
