it's only controversial at ESB.
everywhere else, folks know Lennox was on the verge of losing his THIRD time, hence his quick retirement after his lucky win on cuts. i suppose if i was british, canadian or just plain biased, i would think differently. then again, i didnt create this thread |

Without Wladimir Vitali would have lost his licence! He attacked Lewis after the fight was stopped. And Wladimir hold him back.
Same against Solis. Vitali would have punched Solis on the canvas without Wladimir. And he would have been disqualified. Vitali should have fight with the energy he showed after the fight was stopped!!!!! The doctor saved his health and he said he was robbed? Robbed of what? 6 rounds where boxed this is the half of the fight and Lewis becomes stronger. Vitali without the cuts lands his best shot on Lewis and could not knocked him out. I cannot understand how Vitali Fans think he could knock Lewis out after round 6. Vitali was KO on his feet after 6 rounds. He hanged on Lewis and could not land good punches on Lewis. Lewis was the won who land the very good and timed uppercut. Lewis looks much better and he would have KOŽed Vitali in the 7th round. |

Lewis balked at the re-match. That says it all. Vitali up 4-2 on all cards. Lewis was tired. If you watch the Klitschko doc, they show you when he fought dirty and used laces and his head.

Say he would give an immediate rematch to Vitaly first .....
1) would Vitaly won the next time ... or knowing Lewis he would prepare himself better and won more convincingly? 2) then knowing history, Sanders would knock Wlad and we would see Sanders - Lewis ...what would that play out assuming that Lewis was scared of southpaws? 3) then we all know that Ruiz and Byrd kind of dominated division for a few years, would that happen when Lewis was still around .... just to refresh memory Lewis ducked both Byrd and Ruiz when they were up comers, would he duck them again and allowed them for capture these other belts? 4) lets assume Lewis would not retire voluntarily, who would be the one who took him out? Just assume he already beat Vitaly twice so that would not be Vitaly, would that be Wlad? .... or maybe Sanders, Ruiz, Byrd, Golota, Peter, Toney or Brewster? Maybe Valuev? 5) could he last as a champion until the time when Haye started cleaning out the division (Lewis was 42 that time)? 6) would Lewis still be the champion now at the age of 46? make up your own story

I think Lennox would of beat vitali for a second time if they had met again
If Lennox had fought the wlad that sanders fought Lennox would of ko'd wlad just as early The rest of the questions are void as Lennox would of fought the brothers then retired as the other fights were not going to generate enough money or been a challenge that would of kept Lennox motivated |

haye was very good at spinning the media into a frenzy and generating interest in him fighting at HW, but the truth is he did very little there |
