He already knocked chuck down in their fight, so he could've head kicked him right then and there with or without roids. I remember in their fight he just let him up after he knocked him down, I think part of it was because he wasn't used to not being able to kick and stomp him.

When Silva knocked him down, he almost did, but remembered the rules. I think he even mentioned it in the post fight commentary.
