Hard 1 to pick, DLH does well against come forward pressure fighters but Honeyghan is a technically very good athletic and powerful one.

Honeyghan UD 7-5

Honeyghan-Curry is a good place to start. Honeyghan had a short prime and a steep drop off due to drugs/drink but a very impressive prime

Wow never seen him he was a top fighter but life style and a change to a overly aggressive style shortened his prime

LMAO @ Oscar knocking out a prime Honeyghan in 3-4 rounds.

What QUALITY welter did Oscar EVER take out early?

It took him 7 rounds to stop Wilfredo Rivera, and 11 to stop Oba Carr.

Honeyghan was far better than both those fighters.

DLH groupies are the worst.

I suggest DLH groupies go watch the dismantling of Don Curry. Lloyd had it all, including a 1st class ****bag personality & attitude to go with it, not many shed a tear when Starling beat him, But by that time Lloyd was a full on party animal. Up to the Curry fight Lloyd became & was a superb all round technician, speed/power/smarts..he could have reigned for as long as he wanted but after the Curry victory he never fought/boxed in that style again, just went into thug mode. DLH is far to rigid & in all honesty just to 1 dimensional compared to the versatile Honeyghan. I wish someone on here would show us what Oscar has got in his ****nal at 147 that wins him the fight!!!!

Look at most of the cans this Honey dude was fighting. Oscar would have went through that resume undefeated.

The "wild ***** swinging a handbag" would clock Hoya before Alcazar leaves the ring and wind up losing by DQ

You could watch Honeyghan clock Bump City Bumphus a split-second after the bell rings for the start of the 2nd round

Think Oscar would be a bit too solid overall for Honeyghan, best on best.As long as he gives him enough respect in the early-mid rounds.

Honeyghan had a lot more natural talent than he's often made out to have, but he just didn't have it mentally.Let his style fall apart so quick once he'd established himself as world class.

It would need to be a focused best or near best Oscar though, he couldn't half-ass it like he did against a faded Carr or stand flat footed in front of Honeyghan like against Quartey. That could make it close.Likewise Honeyghan would need to be in his Rosi\Curry sort of form, before he convinced himself he was some kind of huge punching Pryor\Armstrong bulldozer.

He was excellent at his best.

He had a very short prime - Rosi-Bumphus - 85-87 or thereabouts.

Changed his style and declined very quickly.

Oscar wouldn't stop Ragamuffin in 4 rounds, of course.

It would have been a very close hard fight.
