Not bad. I would get the red or black mids.

Likely overpriced if they have MP's name attached.

I've read they are nice and light, but don't offer a lot of support and feel really loose. That's why i didn't get them.

I have the black highs and yes they are very light. It is true that there isn't a lot of support around the upper but for a boxing shoe I don't see that as a bad thing. If you need more support around the ankle just lace them up to the top and tie them tight. They are not loose on me, as I am assuming that person probably ordered their true size when they should've went down a half size. I wear 9.5 in Nikes (Air Maxes, Air Trainers, Structures, Stabs) and Sauconys and I ordered a size 9 in these knowing they are gonna minimize the padding around the upper and ankle collar (there is pretty much none). The are very breathable unlike my Title shoes, but the problem I have with them is the fact that the outsole keeps peeling off. I have crazy glued the sole back a few times now but I have been wearing them for over 3 years now as my main boxing boot.

i always believed the its better to get that free sort of feel, i used my brothers lonsdale shoes and i felt a bit less uncomfortable because my ankle was a bit more restricted.

Fair enough, I've never tried them myself that's just what I read in a few reviews. I like it to be light, but you also want support as well. I'm thinking of getting those new Adidas ones as a birthday present though

I have terrible ankles from years of playing basketball so I feel more comfortable with the restriction. The thought of rolling an ankle is always in the back of my mind though.

its true in any foot wear ,,you get what you pay for ,yes you do pay a bit extra for the mp name but this will give you the edge over your opponent

I'm a big believer in ,if your really interested in what your doing,,only the best will do

i have Roy Jones junior (Jordan) boots,,,,very comfortable

I've never worn boxing shoes before. Do they make a huge difference? The Nike Free Run 2s that I train/spar in are really light and comfortable, and luckily I haven't had any issues with rolling my ankle. I'm planning to buy some actual boxing shoes for my match, but I'll probably end up buying some cheap ones.
