Default Jones vs Hopkins - who wins today?

In 1994 it was a clear victory for Jones. I think it would have been any time up to 2003, but after that, Hopkins clearly was better. Who takes it today?

Hopkins. I take Hopkins in a fight between them any time after the first fight.

Something tells me Bernard won't ever be the same after Joe. RJJ is still quick enough to win without a flash KO.

Hopkins is a rough fighter, though not a big puncher. This fight is all wrong for the modern day Jones.

tough to call...both so old. i original thought jones could take it because hopkins workrate is poor...but when i think about it i only see roy jones getting mugged in the clinch and grimed out to a hopkins decision. didn't see jones's last fight either.

Hopkins would have been better to have taken this fight than Calzaghe. He's aged A LOT better than RJJ. If they met right now, I could not convcieve of a way that Jones would go the distance. This would end as a dramatic KO loss for RJJ almost as shocking as his loss to Tarver.

Buddy McGirt is the latest one to come up with the idea that Roy's skills and smarts can make him prevail in this one and I won't question it... Just that Roy usually won fights with power-punching and throwing more punches - now, he affords to get behind in punch stats in the first 12, 15 minutes against an inactive fighter fighting above his weight like Tito, and he has limited power in counter-shots... The right hand landed short on the temple and the left lead was more of a push... Roy is in shape and flashy, accurate and creative as ever, just that extending that right hand to block and moving str8 back up step by step, he can't possibly compete for full three minutes rounds with Bernard... So if he can't steal rounds as easily as before, and it wasn't that easy the first time - 116-112 (8 rounds to 4) - he would have to stop Bernard with aggressiveness and non-stop punching now and that is completely out of the question.
