Disagree.
Dan is an amazing MMA fighter, and his physical attributes mean he is a very effective boxer-for-MMA. But, like the vast majority of good MMA-boxers, they lack the fluency, speed, and footwork to succeed in boxing. Boxing-for-MMA is not the same as actual boxing. And Dan has big power, but he doesn't have much by way of defence, and is over-reliant on the big right hand. BJ Penn and Frankie Edgar could have been very good boxers, especially Penn. |

I think Edgar would have developed into quite a good boxer had he gone that route. The Diaz brothers both have good boxing skills, too.

Who knows ?
As a boxer, training boxing everyday, and no other martial art..since his young days....I guess would be possible that Hendo would be a quality slugger. |

He is an odd body shape, short spindly legs and huge upper body, arms flailing about. A lot like this guy actually.
