I've never really liked Oscar De La Hoya's style either. Against guys like Mosley and Mayweather his style didn't bother me, but then when he fought guys like Tito I found it to be pretty boring.

Agree. I could appreciate his greatness but he couldnt crack an egg and bore me to death. I also dont like mobile boxers with no power. Was never a fan of Larry Holmes for example. Didnt like Lennox Lewis as a cautious holding boxer when he outweighed and outgunned most of his opponents. That kind of made me nauseous.

Fighters that run, grab, don't punch much, don't punch with power, and look for the referee to save them or moan and complain when the attacker who is trying to fight mauls them when held.

Basicall, any style based on avoidance. I don't necessarily have to watch a slugfest to enjoy a fight, but I don't like negative styles.
Oh, and Pazienza. Hate that guy. |
