Default Would Napoles always beat Griffith @ welterweight?

Griffith was strong at welter, but would Napoles always outspeed him to earn decision wins?

I don't know if he would always beat him, but that is certainly the likely scenerio. I have an easier time seeing Napoles stopped on cuts than getting KO'd or dropping a decision...but perhaps on just the right night???

He'd always outbox him, but they would be closer affairs and Griffith would rough him up quite a bit, potentially getting a cut stoppage once in maybe ten fights.

Much like Rodriguez, Napoles is simply a better boxer, and has the durability and cunning to stand up to Griffith's attempt to man handle him.

No.

I think Napoles would take him out late.

Curry vs. Rodriguez would be a better fight. Nice and close that one.

I love Curry's technique and general style.

I think Curry might actually be a bit strong for Napoles.I'd be more confident over 12 than 15 though.

The word is of co**** that Griffith was weight drained...and Griffith wasn't his best. But even with that said, Napoles did well stylistically against him. It's difficult to say, the Griffith who defended the title against Ortega very strong. The only thing I'd feel certain in saying is that both would split a series of fights.

Curry fought some really good competition, but he never beat anyone remotely llike Mantequilla.

Griffith is not a fighter that can truly be beaten always.

Napoles would've always been a tough match-up for him though. He just seemed to have every answer to Griffith's moves, though to be fair to Griffith his moves did look somewhat more plodding and predictable the day they fought.

Not his finest day at the office, it wasn't. Another day and Griffith may have made himself look a little better and Napoles work a little harder.
