Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury THE TRUTH
Now, wilder fans, this is your worst nightmare come true.
Age Wilder 26 years, 11 months Fury 24 years, 4 months Boxrec rating Wilder 56 Fury 7 Ring Rating Wilder: lol Fury: 10 titles held Wilder: none Fury: English title, Irish title, Commonwealth title, wbo inter continental title best opponents Wilder : none Fury : world title challenger Chisora, Canadian champion unbeaten Pajkic, English champion mcdermott, decent journeymen maddelone, rogan, zack Page. Face it wilder fans, your guy is older, turned pro earlier yet has achieved Nothing compared to fury. He has no ranking, no titles, no fans, nothing. Fury is taller, bigger, stronger, braver, more accomplished, and just better in every department Wilder is a disgrace and will be lucky if Fury spares him crumbs from his table. The 56 ranked wilder would be a step down for fury Last edited by Phill-Mitchell; 08-20-2012 at 10:24 AM. |

TBH Wilder and Fury's achievments and rankings SHOULD be the other way round.
Wilder should be the guy in the top 10, with the younger, less accomplished Fury calling him out for a payday. Wilder fans either dont realise this or just choose to ignore it. i've never seen a heavyweight "prospect" who has achieved less at 27 years old than Deontay Wilder you HAVE to think there is a reason for this, his camp know he has a glass chin, they know he is vulnerable and that's why they are trying to match him softly and then farm him out to a Klitschko for a payday. If they put him in with anyone with a pulse there is a good chance of him getting Tye Field'sd and kiss goodbye to ever making any money out of this sport It's michael grant all over again |

First off, I wasn't even aware that there are any Wilder fans. Second, I don't think anyone would argue that Fury is the more accomplished fighter. I'm not sure why anyone would think that it's some sort of feather in Fury's cap to be more accomplished than Wilder. Wilder has been matched extremely light.

Fury is sloppy and goofy, but he's good. Since Wilder is being brought up so careful he's probably another Audley Harrison. Fury probably would KO him unless he would get caught with a lucky punch.

I can't see anyone trying to argue with this, it's absolutely true. Wilder's fans were actually excited about him beating the shot to shit ghost of Owen Beck, who's lost his last 8 fights, 7 of which by stoppage! ![]() That offer of an avatar or a ban bet goes out to anyone stupid enough to think Wilder will win |

To be honest I think the only people hyping Wilder are the absolute Trolls, the sort of ones who will vanish once he gets KO'd only to resurface with a new ALT and start hyping some other mug.

Cableaddict will be in here soon arguing that Wilder is the superior boxer and that anyone who disagrees should shut the fuck up, he'll then pick apart boxrec and drag up the 3 wilder opponents that had a positive win ratio to use as an example. As I said in an earlier post, Wilder is the sort of guy you see at a fucking fair under a marquee fighting drunk construction workers for a bit of cash.

When was the last time Wilder was actually hit in the chin by a legit punch?
I've watched a lot of his fights on youtube and I'm not sure I've ever seen him hit with anything of consequence. Which is no surprise after what happened with Sconiers. They're really being soft with the matchups. He'll never fight Fury. |
