Scintillating fight.
Ruelas probably didn't have much left mentally by this time but Arturo was so easy to hit that Gabe couldn't help but tee off on him. Gatti again proves that he didn't know how to have a dull fight as he couldn't resist brawling even with a guy who in light of the Jimmy Garcia tragedy wasn't the fighter he was. Still it was a great effort by both guys and another Gatti FOTY. Fuck I miss Gatti.

at his BEST, WHO is the BEST he could beat?
he was a lovely boxer, not a slickster or sylist, but a lovel boxer all the same, and we all know he could fight. So WHO is the very best he could have mixed it with? |

Heh, I remember watching this bout as it was being broadcast back when I was a teen. It was the first Gatti I saw and made me a fan for life.

I'd probably take the Mancini of the Arguello fight to outlast Gatti. |
