Default Liver Shot

Anyone got any advice on throwing a left hook to the liver? Any advice would help to do with bodyshots/left hook for an orthodox boxer. Cheers

go inside him, throw few straights to his head, he will bring his hands up and open for a liver shot (1-2-3b) - this is the simplest situation, but also depends on opponents awareness and defense. You can also check hook liver too.. Or you can double your left hooks, first head, than body.. There is a lot of situations, it all sounds very easy written here, but in the ring, it is a different story.

If you are boxing against lefty, jab to head and throw straight right into right side of his ribcage (your left when you look at him). Thats very powerful shot, if he saves the liver, ribs gonna hurt anyway

It's always the best if guys get sloppy and don't bring their right back fast enough. Slip to the outside and stab in the liver. Stab in the liver.

Watching the right hand is the key. If you slip their straight its on.

Depends when you do it. It could be a 'kill or be killed' situation which should be avoided. Its a short shot meaning you either have to close the distance in a very small timeframe or already are in the required distance. Its part of my signature combination, dig shot and slice uppercut which i use when toe to toe. Knocks out pretty much everyone, the uppercut is just there to put him off balance and fall.
