In all honesty 160 is prob right for him, however, didn't he look good physically against Mckart! Best he has in years, and came in at 156 even though he could have come in at 160... body is ad******g and we can all enjoy the last few years of a special talent |

Would that be the same Mundine that made Boxing History by becoming the first fighter to turn down 3 title shots in 3 different divisions in descending order... And while we are discussing Mundine's balls (if you can only take the time to take them out of your mouth)... Would this be the same Mundine that made an art form of handing back his paper Titles when ordered to fight half decent opponents?... and while you give credit to Mundine for rematching Woods after Woods bested him...You don't seem to have any probs with Mundine denying Geale the chance to do the same. You really are a stupid ****

A question for Mundine fans and anyone who sees the victory over Geale as defining him.
Jermain Taylor has two controversial wins over Bernard Hopkins, yet Taylor for the most part is defined by his losses as these were far more pivotal and give a better indication of his limits. Mundine, like Taylor while having some decent wins (very close decision over Geale being his most noteworthy), is defined by most by his losses. While Kessler and Ottke can be understood, losing to the average Siaca, and later a lowly Woods is hard to swallow. Geale on the other hand is renowned for the great things he's achieved, unifying belts fighting on foreign soil is HOF worthy stuff. While no one expects Geale to reach such heights as Hopkins, I'm sure history will be similarly kind and the very close loss to Mundine will be seen as an aberration to an otherwise consistent career. In the case that Geale is offered a rematch and he avenges his loss, as would be expected, Mundines main claim to fame may be extinguished. |

Against Sturm I thought work rate was the major key.
If all else is equal, any factor can win a fight, and in a close one - which is what Sturm vs Geale was, we saw it get someone over the line |

true m8 , Geale was more accurate in that fight, Sturm isnt as evasive as Mundine when it comes to his defence. Watching the Geale v Mundine fight you can see that Mundine evaded MANY of Geales punches so workrate didnt really work for Geale in that fight since his accuracy wasnt there.

I still don't think Mundine beat Geale in the first, Geale is the most accomplished fighetr from here in over a decade. I however think the fight should happen, Geale would get the media he deserves, and correct the first decision. |

the irony of all this is that if choc was fair dinkum, going through geale would be the quickest path to a fight with mayweather.

mundine against bronco kmart didnt thro more than 3 punch combo's he leaned in with his head alot and close range ( big no no for geale) , the only strength i seen in his last fight was his jab from the out side is still quik, other than that the rest of his punches are predictable and his ring smarts are amarturish !
