I was wrong, you were right.
Brewster looked pretty shot, but I ain't taking nothing away from Wladimir, he outjabbed, outboxed and outmaneuvered my man. Please retire Lamon, you obviously dont have the fire in you anymore. Congratulations Klitschko. And now im stuck with this avatar for three! months.

Im saddened because people booed a warrior, booed someone who probably already left everything he had in the ring!
He fought Krasniqi in Germany and put on a hellacious show! Im sad because he's going out as a "quitter", when in fact we all know this guy was tough as hell |

Vlad fought the right way this time, (you got to fight your fight) Brewster was taking a horific beating from the jab and an a occasional right hand and hook but was pretty much getting battered and landing nothing, smart fight for Vlad, get Corrie next while waiting for the Ruslin/Sultan winner

If I have said something bad about Wladimir as a person, I'd like to make a statement, he's a great fighter and he proved it tonight. As for my man Lamon, he should retire immediately, and I bow before him for all his fights, he wasn't dominant, he wasn't the biggest talent, he didnt have much advantage over other fighters, but he had the fighting heart and a strong mind. |

This isn't anything about a fire within Brewster. He was still willing to take that beating, and try for his haymaker just like the last fight. Only this time Wladimir's hands didn't drop out of sudden exhaustion and Brewster wasn't given the chance to take over.
Had Wladimir all of the sudden gassed out the same way, the same thing would have happened... as the fights were carbon copies of each other minus Wlad collapsing and Brewster being dropped. Wlad has grown as a fighter, and didn't allow things to turn upside down. |
