But then he was upset by that South African (who also flattened Alldis). Why did he quit? He certainly was young enough and good enough to continue at a British/Euro level. I never got to see all of that, as ITV (in London) decided to show the rounds Makathini dominated and then finish, missing the entire McCrory comeback...
