Vyacheslav Glazkov will be fighting Gbenga on the Pirog undercard May 1st. Slava had 5 or 6 fights fall through for him last year. His last 2 fights were against Ukrainian journeyman Peretyatko and the giant Russian journeyman Orlov.
Oloukun is a tough solid gatekeeper, a slight step down from Bakhtin who he beat 3 fights ago in only his 9th pro fight, but a good opponent for your 12th pro fight. Compared to Price, Szpilka, Abdusalamov the top names on his resume are clearly better in spite of not recieving as much attention as those prospects. Looking forward to this card. Nice. Oloukan has wins over Virchis and Brewster, so he is a tough customer.
I still wish Glazkov would have got those fights he was scheduled for with Ice Cole and Ahunanya. But what the hell acn you do? |

Vyso, how much Glazkov has pure punching power. He seems to be good prospect but does he have true ko power`?
Is there a youtube clip or anything I can watch where he is showing power against durable opponent`?

This is Slava's 1st pro fight against a 21-10 decent journeyman who has only been TKO'd 2x against Helenius and Ustinov. He's decent, durable and you can see him hurt from Glazkov. He gives Roberto a standing 8. Only time iv seen Roberto hurt was against Timurziev who was a moster puncher. Oloukun isn't good enough to have beaten Virchis.

It would have been good experience, better than his 2 most recent fights, but at this stage Gbenga is definitely a better opponent. Who else was he supposed to fight Peter and wasn't there talk of Oleg Platov? I hope Oleg gets his career in order. He would KO Mitchell or Arreola.

Nice opponent for Sergei.
Hopefully the Sergei "fragile phalus" Glasscock war wagon starts rolling... |

Glazkov looks pretty solid. Looking forward to seeing more of him. At 27 though he needs to keep up the tempo and hopefully his body cooperates with the improvement needed after every fight.
