This guy is hardly a step up. In fact his last 3 fights have been against pretty ordinary guys who all had losing streaks.
I thought after the Lanardo Tyner fight where he was pushed they would step up his level again. This kind of shit disappoints me. |

They're handling Wale just fine, IMO. He's getting different looks at different styles, but staying away from punchers for the time being. While the Top Rank PPV undercard streams aren't exactly reaching a massive audience, he is getting seen regularly and generating word of mouth interest. Sostre obviously isn't any great shakes but he did bring a tricky style and Omotoso was able to dominate every round and work on a few things. |
