Exclamation AMIR KHAN has asked Virgil Hunter to take over from axed coach Freddie Roach.

But Roach has one piece of advice for any trainer who agrees to join the Brit fighter’s camp.
He said: “I like Amir but they should keep him away from punchers.”
Hunter currently trains WBC and WBA super-middleweight champion Andre Ward.
Khan is on his fifth trainer since turning pro in 2004. His critics have constantly ridiculed his ability to take a punch.

Bit of a snide dig by Roach...

Roach is right, but the Light Welter division is full of heavy handed hero's waiting to decapitate Khan.
