there are tousand shoulderworkouts,but u dont tell if you want to build mass,get stronger,or if your a boxer just stamina.. all shoulderworkouts are good, but u have to remeber, boxing builds strong front shoulders and if the backshoulder gets much weaker than he front,wich is common,ull have big shoulderproblems in a few years. balance it,and work twice as har on your back shoulder muscles.

If your goal is strength and want to avoid shoulder fatigue - not going for bulk, my gym does these types of exercises:

hand stand wall pushups, and hindu pushups are particularly good for shoulder strength.

I've been doing the speed bag, alternating DB shoulder press, lateral DB raises, and front DB raises. Havent been doing anything that targets the back shoulder muscles though. Any suggestions?

Facepulls. Do them often too.

The anterior and even the medial delts really take a pounding compared to the posterior, so it is really important to make sure you hit them.

Had to google facepulls. Dont think I'll be able to do those in my current gym. After Googling exercises for rear deltoids, I found some sites suggest bent over DB raises and upright rows. I already do these, but I thought bent over DB raises targeted the back, similar to reverse bench flies, and upright rows targeted mainly the traps. Now I know.

Hi Theron,
Hang clean and press, military press, overhead squat, dumbbell shoulder press and upright barbell rows are effective exercises for shoulders so make a set of these exercises to gain desired results. Strong shoulders will help improving the form of other exercises involving the arms, like bench presses and dead lifts.

Band pull aparts are by far the most underrated and underused upper back exercise I know of.
