We will wait and see what happens with the weight stipulation and if your source/sauce is correct or not , but the fact is belts have been fought at catchweights in the past anyhow . Manny Pacquiao has made his name winning world title fights at catchweight and he is supposedly the best P4P fighter going around .
Danny doesnt have a gun at Camerons head telling him he must drop weight and fight at Cruiser , he can stay at Heavy and fight for peanuts if he wants to but Cameron has been calling Danny out for more than 2 years now so here is his chance to win a belt (albeit a paper one) . Cameron has even been quoted as saying
"It's why I dropped a weight level in the first place - to fight for a world title and fight the calibre of Danny Green."

YEah Dannyweight Incentives isnt like putting a gun to ya head, you dont make Dannyweight you dont get paid lol , and we all remember the BJ Flores bullsht, dropped his undies to make 195LB. Look I dont agree with titles being fought at catchweights but the story is that the boxer who brings in the money calls the shots , and as long as the fans continue to pay for the cheapening of these titles then boxers , promoters , managers and the TV suits will keep getting away with it .

I tend to agree with you , Danny should have to much speed with his underrated jab and then work off that and nail the slow moving fat bastard tryhard that Cameron is .

When David Tua dropped Cameron back in 2009 I can see Danny doing the same thing .

Cameron may not be the greatest boxer, but he will be carrying less fat then Green will be.

Green doesn't hit harder then the average cruiserweight, so its a bit silly comparing him to Tua.
