Kessler/Froch/Dawson is a top 3 victories that clearly propels him to one of the very best in the world. Ward has never lost more than a couple rounds in any fight (2 vs. Abraham, 2-3 vs. Bika and Miranda) unlike the guy sometimes ranked ahead of him, Sergio (lost 4 rounds vs. Pavlik, 4-5 vs. Barker before stoppage, 4 + KD vs. Macklin before stoppage).

Sergio has also ate the canvas in most of his recent fights; Williams I, Pavlik, Macklin, Chavez Jr.
