I hate it when two fighters I like have to battle for a belt, but that's how it goes. I have a lot of respect for Salido. Who was expected to fall victim to JuanMa to further hype the JuanMa vs Gamboa showdown. Orlando had a different plan and took matters into his own hand. Then the rematch came and it was to be held in Puerto Rico again! Salido didn't complain, he just focused on his training and game plan, went over there and put another beating on JuanMa.

But I think Salido might be passing the torch to Garcia in a great fight, in which Mikey proves himself.

While this might be true, i think Mares performance in the Agbeko rematch was him at his best so far...He outclassed a very good skilled opponent in Agbeko without struggling and showed his boxing skills, and showed plent of grit in that fight as well. That performance is better than anything ive seen from Mikey so far, but Mikey is still young, and he will most likely get better.

Salido is a certified G. After something like 7 losses in his first 10 fights to come that far is nothing short of a miracle of the human spirit. I'm going to root for Garcia though. I think that it is a great match up and the fight will be very close on the score cards IMAO. I can see a fight where Salido is more active but Mikey lands the harder punches. It will be close somehow controversial decision for Garcia

Both guys great for the sport but Mikey is the future though Salido is not a shy underdog. Sorry, I'm on Mikeys side int his one but generally who cares? It'll be a great fight and possibly FOTY at least in my books. It should be an express for the fight not just 1 fighter. Both fighters are gonna bring it and win more rightful adoration.
