You only have to follow Burns career to know that the the claim of him "ducking" Broner is fucking laughable, what, he was afraid of fighting Adrien fucking Broner, are you serious? |

Ricky hasn't had the advantages that Broner has and their resumes aren't that different. It's all down to HBO and GBP mate.Ricky has the belt,so it's Broner who should have the opponent's purse if the WBO order the fight.

If anything it's been proven he's far from it, after being beaten by Ponce De Leon. |

No offence, but Mitchell is what? British-Euro level at best?
His biggest wins are Johanssen, Prescott and Murray. Prescott is closest to world level. Burns is fighting Harrison next, which is wrong. Broner is being written off to easily on here. |

I can see Broner spoiling and landing pot shots with that disguised right hand on his way to a controversial victory over Burns, kind of like Calzaghe-Hopkins but with the American getting the victory. Broner is a difficult (child with learning disabilities in the body of a) man to chase down, he uses the ring well and has a good reach.
But if Burns is gets decent sparring to prepare, say the likes of Stevie Forbes and Joan Guzman maybe, i think his timing, size, and ring IQ mean potentially, he could take Broner apart. I grudgingly voted for Broner on points. |

Burns is world class no doubt, its time for him to spank that mouthy yank. imo there's no better time for him. he's looking shit hot, has grown into the weight, is punching harder, confidence is sky high. broner looks very talented but how tough is he? burns is the toughest/strongest fighter in the uk outside carl froch. mega stamina, great chin, very strong, teak tough, big heart, schooled boxing skills, clever, great defence. he'll give broner hell. alot of people wont ever take to burns because his style doesnt look great and his ko record is poor, but as mitchell said....... ''you dont realise how good he is untill you step in the ring with him.''

Martinez, Moses, Mitchell and Katsidis are all far better wins than anything Broner has done. Broner won't be the bigger/taller man either. Let's see how Broner goes against DeMarco, who Burns also trumps in terms of records. |
