too many to even think of...
I'd say Ali v Louis and Tyson v Marciano for HWs... Zale v Hagler or Hagler v Benn I always thought Britain's Ernie Roderick v Fritzie Zivic. McAvoy v Walker or Greb Lynch v Wilde Lewis v Big Klit II and for me Gilroy v Burley circa 1942 (it could've happened, Charley Rose invited Gilroy to America then). Eric Boon v Henry Armstrong loads & loads to imagine! Last edited by thistle1; 09-26-2012 at 04:57 PM. |

I've never even considered that one, but boy would that be a great fight. presumably they'd both meet at light weight, although I imagine a light welterweight or even a welterweight meeting is possible. Probably have to favor Duran, but what a match.
