TYSON FURY was the victim of a cruel hoax as his young son lay fighting for his life in hospital.
The British heavyweight champion claims sickos hacked his Twitter account to put vile racist attacks on the web.

Fury, 23, has spent the last eight days sleeping at a specialist hospital after his seven-week-old son Prince was admitted with serious breathing difficulties.

The infant was first admitted to a hospital in Doncaster but has since been transferred to the specialist unit.

Fury Jnr needs round-the-clock care as he struggles for breath in an incubator.

He is still having intensive treatment and doctors are reluctant to allow him home until he makes a full recovery.

It is a chilling twist for the Fury family as Tyson had to be resuscitated THREE times when he was born seven weeks prematurely.

A spokesman said: “Prince must have his dad’s fighting spirit. Few gave Tyson a chance to survive but somehow he did.

“Now it is Prince’s turn with the help of the magnificent hospital staff to fight off his illness.”

Throughout Prince’s plight, dad Fury has refused to accept calls on his mobile or make them unless it is an absolute emergency.

Yet Fury’s Twitter account has been filled with some sickening rants aimed at heavyweight rival David Price, who is the mandatory challenger for his British heavyweight title.

Price, 28, went to the Beijing Olympics ahead of Fury and justified his selection by winning a bronze medal.

Fury’s spokesman claimed: “This is not the first time Tyson has been the victim of this kind of nonsense.

“But what makes it all the more difficult to bear is that all this rubbish is going off while his son is fighting hard in hospital.”

Fury has attracted excitement and controversy in equal measure since he turned pro and won all his 17 fights, with 14 knockouts.

His latest victory was a third-round stoppage of Canadian Neven Pajkic, who put Fury on the canvas for the first time in his career.

Fury recently admitted he suffered from bouts of depression and only felt comfortable in the ring.

A bout against Price could take place in the New Year.
