Default Kessler vs. Magee

Is this a ****ing joke or what? Is this fight a worse mismatch than the froch v yusaf mack fight?

Okay s****. Nothing to get excited or annoyed about.
Kessler's clearly on the downturn and I wonder if he'll ever go for a big fight against a really big threat.

Fairplay to Magee for keeping plodding along but not a fight to look forward to

Magee has earnt the fight by winning the interim pretend WBA title and Kessler walks into a pretend WBA title shot whenever he wants.

Can't begrudge Magee the shot and it will be great for him if he can sneak a win.

Neither Froch nor Kessler want to ruin the chances of their big money rematch. Kessler keeps on winning and Froch keeps on winning (including dealing with the Bute rematch) and they'll get it on at the City Ground, summer 2013.

This.

Unfortunely it will be a big pay day in Denmark, because Macgee have beaten to over the hill danes (Mads L****n & Rudy Markussen). I would have preferred other fights though.

Going by how bad Kessler looked against Green, this is far from a mismatch.

Kessler will probably stop him in the late rounds, but Magee isn't a clown by any means and deserves respect, always willing to get his passport out and travel, unlike some.

I don't see much point in a Froch/Kessler rematch, money aside. Froch would dominate and probably win by stoppage.

Kessler will be alright for a while longer against the likes of Green and Magee, it's whether he's content to do this for the remainder of his days in the game.

Magee is a pretty good fighter. Caused Froch and Bute to a lesser extent issues so its hardly a terrible fight. Mack is worse IMO, as he's not especially durable.

I can see Kessler getting cut in this one which will put off the froch fight again

The other factor is avenging a loss on his record.

Antonio Margarito stopped Martinez in 2000. Wlad was KO'd by Brewster in 2004. It is possible for fighters to mature and improve with age you know.

Did you watch that fight by the way? There was **** all between them up until the late KO from Froch. He gave him a tougher fight than Bute or Pascal.

Froch vs magee was a good fight, I also knew from the magee vs Bute fight that Bute was still vulnerable and froch would stop him.

Magee is a lot better than he gets credit for r but Kessler has a style that will cope with what magee brings

Magee had the pick of a top 15 WBA opponent as Balzsay pulled out so he chose Kessler in Denmark. One hell of a gutsy move and shows he has ambition to be in the mix with the big boys. Whether it pays off is doubtful but you can't question the man's *****
