Against George Arias on the Khan VS Prescott undercard. Audley was booed from the end of the 1st round throughout, he killed the atmosphere and it wasn't until about the 4th round of Arthur V's Cook that we realised some boxing was taking place again.

Pascal vs. Diaconu, maybe... although that wasn't a clear case either... both were home fighters and the crowd was devided.
The Froch fans were not supporting Bute!

This question is for your dissertation? What on earth are you studying?

Wish I could talk about boxing in mine

Business Management mate. Doing it from the marketing and promotional side of boxing. Took me a while to convince my tutor it was do-able but he soon liked the idea.

Tyson v Francis is a good example of what I was looking for. Thanks

Haye-Chisora? I know they are both London lads but Haye was technically the "away fighter" being a millwall and all. He was the massive crowd favourite on the night though

How 'bout Wlad vs Haye? Or doesn't that count?

The majority of the crowd was favoring Wlad of course. But there were so many Brits present in Germany, and they were so loud that it looked like Haye was fighting at home (also German crowds are know to be pretty quiet).

Any examples would be apprecuiated.

Thanks.

The Duran-Moore and Mayweather-Hatton fights are just examples of the away fighter being much more popular and having stronger, more vocal fanbase's.Alex Arthur-Ricky Burns was like this and you'd have never known that this was taking place in Arthur's backyard given the repeated "Alex Arthur, you're a wanker, you're a wanker!" chants.
