Rios is mad funny, good clip.

This is a prime example of how skilled fighter at the world championship level is much more technically sound than the casual or untrained fan will give him credit for just watching him fight. Anytime Rios gets into a war on the inside, all you hear is about how he has "no skill" and "0 defense". But if I showed this English reporter, who looks to have quick hands, solid fundamentals, and decent punching form, in a video clip on the mitts and said he was an undefeated prospect calling Rios out, half (or at least a good chunk) of the forum would jump all over it and favor his style over Rios's substance. Clearly, despite making his offense a priority, Rios has skills and abilities far above those ranked below him to the point that he can toy with a solid quick amateur almost never getting hit flush with a power shot.

Just remember the next time you see an offensive fighter with a tendency to get hit more often than Floyd Mayweather Jr. or Pernell Whitaker, even if he's not the next ATG of the era, that he's there for a reason and can do things others clearly cannot.

Rios' guard is incredibly underrated. Very tight and parries punches very well. No, he's not a wizard, but he's not a primitive cave man.

and He's the best inside fighter in boxing

The Mayweather stick bottom lip out and shake head was spot on as well. Gotta love Rios.

Sheesh seriously I don't understand that either. We have people jump to conclusions really quickly and when something happens that's much more subtle its always chalked up to either size, glass jaw, drainage, shot, weight cheat, pretty much everything on the discrediting side of things

point being, not all skills are easily quantifiable

So did I and I don't even like Rios, and I know it was wrong, but it was funny as **** nonetheless.

Never found that shit funny, Rios gave a real heartfelt apology on camera admitting he knew and was in the wrong.
