Default Could Floyd and Manny be the #1 and #2 PPV stars in the 90's?

Right now there is no competition other then Cotto for the PPV Numbers. Do you guys think they could have been top 2 among the heavyweights and Oscar?

Will their appeal and fighting styles enable them to be the top 2 stars in the 90's era? Or will the heavyweights over rule them?

he could have been up there maybe top 5 in his absolute prime but its hard to overshadow the huge personality and talents that existed back then

Pacquiao would be, but not Floyd.

With Tyson and Oscar around, not a chance.

But they be neatly behind the two.

They'd be laughed out of the sport for not fighting each other.

No with big stars like De La Hoya and Tyson at Heavyweight I'd doubt either Pac or Mayweather could out sell them in terms of PPV numbers.

Mayweather may have struggled to really connect with the public like he has in today's money orientated and celebrity driven media.

Pac may have been star though would probably still have been overshadowed by Hamed who was a huge draw at the time.

Now that you've mentioned it, back in the 90's, there would probably be on outcry to get Hamed-Pacquiao made.

Floyd/Oscar have the top PPV of all-time, followed by Tyson-Holyfield II, Tyson-Lewis, Tyson-Holyfield I and Tyson-McNeeley.
