This would be a good matchup. I think Kirkland would eventually stop Mundine at 154.

Kirkland is no world beater but he has the power and ticker to take Mundine out. Mundine would win some early rounds but Kirkland would catch him and stp him in 4 or 5. No chance Mundine's china chin stands up to Mandingo's power.

And that's it in a nutshell. Can we drop the Mundine threads now?

Kirkland is awful, he is hyped because he is an American and can bang. Awful chin and awful lack of skill, Mundine would jab him to death all fight.

More power is useless when you can't land it. Choc has so much more skill than Kirkland, if you think Kirkland's last two fights point to anything other than an easy night for Choc you 100% have not watched them.

If Kirkland didn't get him out in the first two rounds then a Mundine win is guaranteed, say what you want about "the man" but his stamina is there.

Kirkland is strong at junior middle while mundine struggles at the weight.
Mundine is still fast, but has slowed down enough to get caught and does more regularly.
Kirkland has a name in America and is seen as a genuine junior middle prospect over there while Mundine is not.

I would love to see Mundine win, but I thimk this run in the U.S should of come at least 4/5 years ago.

By the way if Khoder isn't looking after Mundine then who is?
Kirkland got knocked out by a jab - hardly strong.
Mundine is far too fast for Kirkland.
Kirkland is American and is waaaay over hyped.

Mundine would embarrass him.

Mundine will shock the world and humble Australia again.

Typical ridiculous hater attitude. This is a pro-Mundine forum, jog on brah.

He lost to Garth Woods ffs.
He would beat the **** out of Kirkland, Kirkland has a bigger punch that is all, putting every other aspect of the game head to head between them would show Choc to be far superior.

Someone else that hasn't seen any of Kirkland's fights.

Mundine would **** all over this chump. Hating Choc doesn't make Kirkland better than him.

Mundine vs any of the supposed big dogs at 154/160 would be interesting. I reckon Martinez would have the best shot at beating him but Choc isn't a walk over for anybody.
